The Big Christmas Craft Sale: Tables Fully Booked as of Sunday, Nov. 17th!
If you would like to be put on the CANCELLATION CALL LIST please submit an application (WITHOUT payment) stating that you wish to be put on the cancellation list with the amount of notification time you need (day before, night before, morning of etc).
It’s that time of year! Craft sale application time! This sale is dedicated solely to HANDMADE/ HANDCRAFTED items, so no-food items or MLM companies. If this is you, you may request an application by emailing spvac@telus.net or click on the Word or PDF link below. *
PLEASE READ THE 2 PAGE APPLICATION CAREFULLY and fill out ALL FIELDS. Incomplete forms will not be considered. Application submission deadline is Friday, November 22nd, 2024.
There is the choice of a PDF form to print and fill out by hand (or use Auto Fill option on your phone) OR there is an electronically fillable WORD document form. *Word files are not viewable on phones or ipads*
The PDF application form can be printed off and the second page can be snail mailed to the address on the form, dropped in our mail door drop slot at the Centre or a photo of your completed form can be emailed to the Centre.
The fillable Word form needs to be downloaded and saved to a computer, opened in the Microsoft Word application, and then the grey boxes can be typed in and filled out. Once completed, it can be saved and returned via email to us as a digital Word document. *Do not fill out while opened in email, your changes will not be saved. It must be downloaded and saved to a computer first.
YOU MUST INCLUDE PHOTO(S) & A DESCRIPTION OF WHAT YOU MAKE. If you have questions, concerns please include them in your form, email us, or call us at 1-780-645-3071 . Keep a copy of the first page of the application as it contains all the important times and information needed regarding the sale. Please do not text your forms or photos to our Volunteer Craft Sale Director Chris.
Please be aware that there is a separate sale happening in the adjoining Curling Rink on the same day. We are not affiliated with that sale. That sale is for MLM’s and other similar Home Based Businesses.
As a non-profit arts organization, our mission is to promote the visual arts in all forms, as well as providing opportunities for artists and crafters to show and sell their creations. Any profit made is put towards next year’s craft sale costs. We run entirely on volunteer help from our dedicated members.
As mentioned above, your Volunteer Christmas Craft Sale Director for 2024 is Chris! She will contact you prior to the sale as well as greet you the morning of the sale and direct you to your table(s). Our Visual Arts Volunteers will be in the bright blue t-shirts, so they are easy to spot.
Our volunteers will be running a small lunch concession again this year. This is not a business, it is a perk that we like to provide for vendors and sale attendees. The fridge and microwave are available to anyone needing to bring their own lunch due to dietary restrictions etc.
We will again have door prizes along with the ballots to hand out to purchasing customers (like a receipt) to enter into the door prize draws throughout the day.
